Sagg Pond
A mudflat shorebird magnet when the pond drops. Fall passage brings sandpipers, yellowlegs, and the occasional Hudsonian Godwit; spring brings the first returning terns.
Access & parking
Bridge Lane crosses the southern end of the pond where it opens to the ocean. Park on the road shoulder; walk the sand cut when the pond is open to the sea.
Parking: Resident-only sticker at Sagg Main Beach in season; road-shoulder parking at the Bridge Lane crossing is the birder's access.
Restrooms: Seasonal restrooms at Sagg Main Beach; none at the pond crossing.
