Hamptons Verified is independently run. Some links are affiliate or sponsored — we disclose every one. Editorial decisions are never for sale.

How we work

We visit the places we write about. We pay for our own meals, our own tickets, and our own parking. When a business comps something, we say so in the piece. When a link earns us a commission, we mark it. When a story is sponsored, it is labeled sponsored — and we still write what we think.

To make sure we are not missing obvious venues, we also run a periodic discovery pass against OpenStreetMap — a free, community-maintained map of the world. OpenStreetMap surfaces candidates (restaurants, cafes, hotels, gyms, bars) that our editors then verify by hand before anything gets listed on the site.
