Shadmoor's clay-and-cobble bluffs collapse into the Atlantic in slow motion every winter, exposing fresh boulders that briefly become climbing problems before the next storm reburies them. There are no fixed routes; bring a crash pad and read the tide chart.

Safety
Bluffs are actively eroding — never climb directly under an overhang and keep eye contact with the tide. NY State Park rules prohibit cliff scrambling above the high-water line.
